Durham Mustangs

Michael Duco brings extensive hockey experience to the Durham Mustangs as a former NHL and AHL player, OHL and OJHL Champion, and professional coach. He has coached in the ECHL, served as Assistant Coach with the OHL’s Peterborough Petes, and works with AAA players in the GTHL. Founder of Advantage High Performance Hockey, Michael focuses on developing elite skills, building player confidence, and improving hockey IQ to help athletes reach their full potential.

Shawn Walsh brings extensive coaching and life experience to the Durham Mustangs. Growing up playing hockey in Stratford and Waterloo and later pursuing golf at the university and professional levels, Shawn has spent the past two decades mentoring young athletes across multiple sports. His focus on teamwork, integrity, and strong work ethic continues to guide players as they grow both on and off the ice.

We are excited to welcome back Dan Worsley as Head Coach of the 2018 Durham Mustangs. Dan brings years of experience coaching this age group, including the Spring Season Development Group, where he has guided many young athletes in developing their skills and love for the game. Known for his dedication to player growth, mentorship, and teamwork, Dan’s leadership has contributed too many athletes’ personal successes and continues to make a lasting impact on the players and families he works with.

The Durham Mustangs are excited to welcome back Chris Eade as Head Coach of the 2019 White team for the 2026–27 KSL season. Eade brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience, having already led the 2019 team in the KSL last year and serving as the Mustangs’ Spring Head Coach for the past two years. He is committed to helping young athletes develop their skills, grow their love for the game, and succeed both on and off the ice.

The Durham Mustangs are proud to announce Kyle Ramsay as Head Coach of the 2020 Tier 1 Red Team for the 2026–27 KSL season. Ramsay brings extensive playing and coaching experience and has coached the Durham Mustangs Development Group this season. He looks forward to continuing the growth of Mustangs athletes as they transition into the KSL league.
