We are excited to announce Tyler Gubb as our Head Coach for the 2017 Tier 1 Durham Mustangs!
Tyler GUbb, began his hockey journey with the Markham Waxers organization before advancing to junior hockey in Stouffville, ON, Victoria, BC, and Salmon Arm, BC. He continued his playing career in the NCAA, spending four years at Michigan Tech University and serving as captain for the University of St. Thomas.
Following his playing career, Tyler transitioned into coaching, serving as an assistant coach at the NCAA level with the University of St. Thomas. Now dedicated to youth hockey development in the Durham region, he is committed to fostering player growth both on and off the ice.
As head coach of the 2017 Tier 1 Durham Mustangs, Tyler is focused on skill development, building a competitive team culture, and ensuring open communication between players, staff, and Mustangs families. He looks forward to continuing the team’s progress and providing a positive, high-performance environment for all athletes.
