Khalid Coroghly

Khalid Coroghly, head coach of the 2015 Tier 2 Durham Mustangs. Khalid grew up and played hockey in Oshawa, Ontario. Khalid is a graduate from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Criminology and Legal Studies.  During that time, he played four years of varsity football with the Waterloo Warriors. Khalid currently plays in a competitive men's hockey league in Toronto. Khalid is a level 2 certified coach, coaching for two years as a head coach in the OMHA with the Clarington Toros and trainer for one year. Khalid currently lives in Bowmanville, with his wife Kate, and their three boys. Hockey is a huge part of his family's lives as his youngest son Crosby plays for the Tier 2 Durham Mustangs as one of the goalies, his middle son Aidan plays for the Clarington Zone, and eldest son Tristan plays for the Clarington Toros. Khalid believes in coaching with a high level of player accountability and discipline while keeping it fun will create enthusiastic and competitive hockey players.×
